If you look at her biography you could
see instantly what type of prestige Dr. Dawn Chamberlin holds in the
game of field hockey. With Coach-of-the-Year numerous amounts of
time in both the Capital Athletic Conference and the Region, she has
continually lead a tradition of success. Coach Chamberlin is
looked highly upon by both her colleagues as well as her
student-athletes.
What you don't see is the more important role that she plays for all of her student-athletes. Dawn is one who always drops what she's doing, to help one of her athletes. She is 26 girls' "college mom". Whether it be you're having trouble in the classroom, you're sick, having problems with roommates, or just need someone to talk to, she is always there to listen and confide in. She's there to make sure you're doing your best in the academia world, as well as keeping out of trouble throughout your college years. She is a great coach, mentor, mom, and friend. |
