About Us
Salisbury University Ice Hockey has been a proud tradition since 1992.
Salisbury is a serious program with intentions of competing at the highest level of play. Incoming players should have at least five years experience including 4 years of high school hockey. Every year, dues are collected from the players to cover shells, a home and away uniform, socks, helmet decals,
and a warm up suit. The team holds two on ice practices a week,
three off ice practices including running and weight room
training, and competes in two games a week. In the off
season, the team continues their work outs through the
spring semester three days a week. Commitment is a MUST to be a part of this program. Salisbury University is not the place to learn how to play hockey, but a place to take your ability to the next level. The ultimate goal is for the team to some day reach the
ACHA
Division 3 national tournament, playing the best teams in the nation at the division 3 level.
Starting this season, the Salisbury Ice Hockey team is
requiring incoming players to purchase certain equipment
through the teams official equipment sponsor Christian
Hockey or on their own. The following equipment is a
requirement: Black hockey gloves, with white being the
only acceptable minor color accompanying it such as the
gloves shown
HERE, completely black pants or shell, and a black
helmet. Once again, a player can either purchase these on
their own or order the pants/shell and gloves through the
team. Christian does not offer helmets. Not having these
color schemes deems a player ineligible. The GULLS compete
in the Colonial League, a premier division within the
Blue Ridge Hockey Conference against the following
regionally ranked
competition:

Old Dominion

Loyola College
