Resume Workshop
November 18th at 7PM. It will be run by Dr Emery and it will be in TETC 280 (the computer lab)
Mobile Science Center December 3rd at 7pm In the either TETC room 153 or 156. This event will be open to people that are not KDP members as well so if you have friends that are education majors invite them along too. ***Please note this event is for Early childhood and Elementary Education Majors. The Resource Center is receiving a grant to aid early childhood teachers on this and is primarily directing this for them.***

Story Time
Come volunteer saturday mornings at the wicomico county public library. Read to children one and up and then participate in a fun craft activity for the kids. Dates are.... Nov 14 (1:00-2:00) Nov 28 if anyone is in the area and would like to Dec 12 (1:00-2:00) Dec 26 (1:00-2:00)
KDP Thanksgiving Dinner
at the Christian Homeless Shelter in Salisbury
Dinner will be on Sunday, November
22nd.
Needed items include:
boxed stuffing, gravy, boxed
potatoes, cranberry sauce, peas, corn, rolls, and
anything else that you can think of that is a
traditional Thanksgiving food! Please do not donate
frozen foods, fruits, or vegetables.
Recycling posters Workshop Want to promote sustainable practices in our schools? Come out: November 8th AND 22nd from 1-3 (TETC 3rd floor conference Lounge)
Troop Care Packages KDP is collecting items to send care packages to the troops over seas. (community service point)
Item suggestions: Dead line is Fri. Nov. 20th.
We also would love if you could have your kids in your classroom you are in write an encouraging letter to the troops. Also, if you would rather make a donation we will accept that as well. The dead line is Fri. Nov. 20th

Salisbury University Book Fair Dec. 1-4th TETC Resource Room 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Friday 4th 9:00am - 12:30pm 2-4 volunteers needed for every hour slot. Great way to rack up the points.
Family Literacy
Nights In the May Literacy Lab Every Thursday night starting October 1st Program Begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30 Sign up for hour slots or for the full time all help is welcomed and appreciated.
Are you concerned with increasing students and family literacy?
Come volunteer Thursday nights at the May Literacy lab.Volunteers are needed watching an interacting with students ages 6-9
