What on earth does "Sophanes" mean?
"Sophanes" is a word that we invented. Yeah, as it turns out we are allowed to do that. It's a combination of the names of two Greek playwrights, Sophocles and Aristophanes.

What do you do?

We do as much as we possibly can, which is included but not limited to:

**Plays
**Acting
**Workshops [sometimes with guest speakers]
**Learning
**Building
**Creating
**Community Service
**Fundraising [which may sound dull, but we're theatre, we make it fun]
**Just having a great time

We have a yearly holiday production in December, as well as a student-directed and designed mainstage production. For more information on those, check out the shows page.
