Dec 4th: is fall over already?! Alas, the end of the fall semester has come. What an amazing fall season for the flash ladies. After traveling to the Delaware tournament and going 5-2 for the weekend in mid-novemeber, the Flash ladies were ready to take on the Ultimaxx challenge. Altogether 14 ladies strong, Flash went to NC and returned with a lot of good memories, some great laughs, and even better love for the flash. Everyone stepped it up this weekend so much and especially when battling the winds down south. Much love and great wishes to our graduating December Seniors: Kerri Liming, Kimberly Strobel, and Kelly Fonner - you all will truly be missed. But hey, don't let those winter months get you down! Keep working out, throwing with friends, and get yourself ready for spring...best time of the year, aka sectionals will be just around the corner before you know it! Have a safe winter break and we'll see you all in the spring!

Sept 18: flash brought sexy bats. Flash couldn't have asked for a better trip to this year's Club Sectionals. Appearing as the club team Ninja Squad, this group of stud ladies worked so well together, they went 6-0 for the entire weekend!!! Even the new players got their piece of the prize with both Jaime and Sarah scoring and assisting...with multiple layouts each too!! I couldn't be more proud of this team and where it's going...FLASH is now back in action. Practices will still continue at the scheduled times and tournament options are still being looked at so check back in to the schedule for updates. Awesome job FLASH! You guys earned it.

April 25: a busy NY week! So it's official - Flash has made it to regionals! The past couple weeks have been a little crazy, including last weekends trip to Albany. Although the play was not that great due to bad weather and cancellations on Sunday, it can be safe to say that Flash girls still had a great time. Thanks again to Ryan West and the rest of the Albany boys for putting on such a great tournament. Regionals is this weekend in Rochester NY so you know what that means...yep! another crazy long adventurous car ride! More posts about that journey will come. Thanks for all the support this year, especially from BUZZ and the guys who came to late night running practice to help out. Also thanks to Towson and Albany for supporting the Flashmania even from long distances away. Thanks to Salisbury University for letting us play and continue to tear up Holloway, and Chris Roberts as well for putting up with our many shennanigans. Flash loves you guys!

March 6: spring season is officially in session! It's been a busy past two weeks! The Flash made it through JMU finishing 6-1 and taking 2nd place all around! Awesome job ladies. Everyone worked amazing together in the crazy wind (wind gusts up to 30mph!) and the weekend went off without a hitch. Atlantis was this past weekend here in the Bury and although the wind was yet again a factor, these ladies did not let it hold them down. Although going 0-4 on Saturday, Flash pulled out an amazing win over G-Dub in their first game on Sunday in universe point with a score of 11-10. It was a hard but good spirited game all around. Next up! Huck of the Irish at Towson...some spring break time...possible visit with alumni Kevin for a boot camp type practice...then on to SECTIONALS! Keep up the good work ladies - it'll all pay off.

No more practices for the rest of the season, but just a reminder for the long winter break: only you can determine just how killer you're going to be in the spring...Bust your but so you can bust theirs. Get pumped up! Have a good winter break!!! See you in the spring :-)

November 14, 2005: flash takes 4th! What a great time at Rutgers! Flash went 2-0 on Friday night at Rutgers university, beating Cornell and Georgetown. Waking up for a full day of ultimate on Saturday, Flash first met with rivals G-Dub but sadly lost that game. Flash took Princeton 13-2 and was headed on to play Rutgers in one of the best games of the season. Everyone played intense defense, enabling us to beat Rutgers 9-6. By far the best performance of Flash this fall. Flash ended up 4th in the tournament after losing to Cornell, who had added 5 of their starting players after last night. But finishing 4th out of 10, after being ranked 8th is definitely something to be proud of. Good job Flash! Not enough can be said about the rookies that made it out to Rutgers, and rookies in general! You guys are doing an amazing job stepping it up, and there is already so much improvement. Keep going, keep throwing, and keep laying out! Again, awesome awesome job to those of you who came out this weekend - and yay - everyone scored at least one point! Practices still on for Tuesday and Thursday - pickup in front of Holloway hall. Check IM's for further updates. Good fall season FLASH!!

November 2, 2004:
Shirts Hopefully we'll be going to Delaware on November 13-14. Another tournament always helps! Fall season is winding down :-( ...but that means that we're that much closer to Sectionals FLASH! Long sleeve t-shirts are still in the process of being made - lets jump on it, cause I know they'd look awesome! Possible discs next semester? Maybe? No? We'll talk about it. I have to learn how to make a discussion board on this thing...haha. |

October 26, 2004: Halloween - NC pictures added Boo! This weekend is Halloween and the tournament I personally was trying to plan went to poo - so some of the flash girls are going to "Flick or Treat". It's a hat tournament which means it's open to everyone and they will put you on a team, should be fun times though! No word about the Delaware tournament on the 13th and 14th - keep it posted though. Other than that, our tournament season looks to be coming to a close. It's always a sad part of the year where your lungs start to hurt and you just want it to be warm and sunny so you can play frisbee! But keep up the intensity over winter break ladies - sectionals is lookin mighty good this year! New pictures from North Carolina were added - of course not allt the pictures made it on here - but Flash I'm sure you'll see the rest. Thanks Jane for donating them! Stimpy also has some to put up, so they'll be up shortly. PS - good job lately freshman! way to step up. I've noticed a lot of your throws have gotten a whole lot better; keep it up! |

October 19, 2004: NC again? North Carolina tournament was a success - many good times had by everyone. Tournament play went as expected with two challenging days of frisbee, but all in all good playing by everyone. Rookies stepped it up in day two and took on NC State for a very long two points - good job Rooks. PS - We definitely won the party! I think it's safe to say that everyone enjoyed their time in NC, and like always..can't wait to go back. As of now, our tentative schedule I believe just includes a very layed back tournament at Coastal Carolina University the weekend of November 14th to visit our friend TAIT! I know there was another tournament that weekend we were looking into in Richmond, don't think we've heard back. Halloween is still up in the air. |

October 11, 2004:
Profiles - North Carolina
- Halloween Profiles have been updated and I think I got everyone - so check em out! If you have anything you want me to add just let me know! Heck Yea Flash! Alright, so we've got the North Carolina trip coming up this weekend. We have an advisor (yahoo for Hil!!)-- finding out tomorrow about whether or not we have vans or funding! Things are working out nicely though so it should be one heck of a weekend, it always is with Flash though of course! I was talking with Miyagi yesterday about possibly having a small night tournament on the night of Halloween (Saturday Oct 30th - possibly Sunday too), under the lights...costumes of course, and co-ed. I thought this would be a great way to spend Halloween so let me know if you're down for the cause. We would invite 6-8 other teams as well -- gotta get crackin though because it's closing in. |

October 5, 2004:
UMCP With another tournament under our belts, the FLASH is ready to take on our next challenge. We had a one day tournament at UMCP on Saturday October 2nd and it was a rough day of ultimate. 5 games and many injuries later, the Flash came out on top with 3 wins and 2 losses. Many rookies stepped it up and scored some points too! Of course the visit from last year's captain Michelle aka FireCrotch, did help boost our intensity also. Our next tournament will be the Wolfpack tournament in North Carolina. I know many people are excited and pumped to play some good ultimate. More details on rides and tournament fees will be posted next week. |

September 24, 2004:
Ft.Belvoir Recap So far we've been off to an awesome start! We came away from our Ft. Belvoir tournament with 3 wins -- not too shabby ladies! I think we all surprised ourselves with the skills we picked up over the summer, and the ability of our rookies! The weekend was a great success - from the party at Dewey's, the points we scored, and the new and impressive rookies we've gained. Good times all around. Next up is this weekend's trip to UMCP for a one day scrimmage in a predominately B-Team tournament. Hopes are high, but we're always there to learn a few things. Ride situation has not been figured out yet, but I'll try and post them as I hear it. |
