Philosophy

Our Team Philosophy is adopted from the Japanese philosophy of WA. 

 WA is the Japanese word for "Harmony" and is an ideal that our team embraces both on and off the court.  WA not only sets the standard for all interpersonal relationships in Japan, but it often takes precedence over other considerations.  WA was taken from Japan's earliest culture which evolved from the teachings of Shintoism.  This belief held that all things in nature had their own individual spirits and were bound together in a cosmic continuum. This cosmic order in nature was described in terms of WA or "Harmony."

Togetherness and Harmony are two concepts that are continually stressed in our program.  The players' belief and willingness to buy into this philosophy has undoubtedly helped to bring us the success we have experienced.
